“Perceptions of Abuse” approaches the issue of elder abuse through the eyes of adolescents, as they watch and react to the story of Norman, an older man abused by his grown sons. This video provides a powerful stimulus for discussion on a wide variety of sensitive topics.

Informative and thought-provoking, it underscores the importance of raising awareness at an early age about issues related to troubled families, isolation, helplessness, self-esteem, power and control. Perceptions of Abuse clearly demonstrates the value of prevention of abuse through education.
